RIFF

THE RIFF IS MY TRUE ALLROUNDER SHORTBOARD, BIGGER DAYS, SMALLER DAYS, ANYTHING YOU WOULD RIDE YOUR REGULAR BOARD IN TIS IS THE TWINNY ..IVE TESTED THIS BOARD UP AND DOWN THE EAST COAST OF AUSTRALIA, THE WAVES OF INDO AND THE WAVEPOOL. ITS THE EASIEST BOARD TO JUST LEAVE IN THE CAR, IT HAS SLIGHTLY FORWARD FOAM, A MID SOFT RAIL THE ROCKER IS FLAT IN THE MIDDLE THAT KICKS LATE IN THE TAIL AND NOSE, THE OUTLINE SWOOPS IN QUICKLY AFTER THE TWINFINS THAT ALSO MATCHES WHERE THE ROCKER KICKS AND THE THICKNESS TAPERS, ALL OF THIS HAPPENING AT THE RELEASE POINT OF THE FIN ALLOWS FOR SOME REALLY HARD/ STEEP TURNING MEANING THAT YOU CAN REALLY GO AFTER YOUR PERFORMANCE SURFING BUT THE BENEFIT OF THE SPEED OF A TWIN, THE LITTLE EXTRA NOSE LIFT ALSO GIVES IT EASE IN STEEPER WAVES AND TURNS. I RIDE MINE RIFFS A FEW DIFFERENT WAYS, I ACTUALLY RIDE A LONGER ONE [6'6''] REGULARLY AS AWELL AS A SHORTER ONE [6'1''] I REALLY ENJOY THE LONGER RAIL LINE OF THE 6'6'' IT PADDLES AMAZINGLY ALLOWING ME TO BEAT THE TRAFFIC A BIT ONT THE CROWDED DAYS, WITH THE LONGER RAIL LINE YOU CAN REALLY PUSH HARD ON IT AS IT JUST HOLDS SO WELL AND I DONT FEEL LIKE IM SACRIFICING ANYTHING RIDING LONGER AT ALL... THE SHORTER ONE IS MORE SPORTY, EASY SPEED AND TURN AND CAPABLE OF ALL THE PERFORMANCE YOU COULD ASK FOR FROM A TWINNY IT JUST REALLY DEPENDS ON MY MOOD AS TO THE BOARD I TAKE OUT.. REALLY PROUD OF THIS BOARD THAT I HAVE CONSTANTLY BEEN WORKING ON AND REFINING FOR 10 YEARS NOW..
